Some notes on the progression of this Web site/story follows:

What's the change? Break out my updates, additions, etc. by month.
Added the following on November 12, 2004 at 12:25 PM CST; 1825 GMT
For those that have been watching the development of this story from the beginning you should be noticing something.
At the beginning - I began with the original home page along with several "top-level) directories (folders) - of which were established roughly by time periods - and, hence, Air Force Base stations.
I typed some preliminary text and started to scan some documents into each of these directories with links provided in the "htm" file to the photographs.
The scanning started around the first of May, 2004 and continued until I had a "rough" history of the time period through 1965. Five month later - October 1, 2004 - I had essentially finished with this "skeleton" - after taking time to write a few articles that will become a part of this project.
Now, if you are visiting this Web site for the first time (and, probably the early visitors) you may be confused at times because the story has not been "smoothed out" for contiguous reading - because what I am doing now (November 12, 2004) is "filling in the holes" - sort of like enriching what is already there.
This will go on for a while, which is why you are seeing continuous updates to Web pages.
It may take as long as another 6 months.
After this enriching with photographs is finished, then it will be time to actually "write" the story - as if it was a book.
After the story is written - then the streaming "video" and audio (I believe) will be overlaid in the appropriate parts of the story to create a "multi-media" presentation.
Now, this is not "complex" - it only appears that way - everything is layered in small increments to create a product that is much larger than each individual part, but quite simple nonetheless.
