No matter how many tears I cry
No matter how many years go by
I still can't say goodbye

Why post a news article instead of a story that will still be readable tomorrow, next year, or for years from now? The basic themes of this short article are addressed over and over on this Web site and this article stands as a muniment of what I am trying to describe to others what we had; what we lost; and what we need back; here in America, from the American man.
What about the American woman? I don't know much about that - other than they are choosing certain men, having children with them, being abandoned by them, or killed by them. So, from that perspective there is much to be learned by women from this Web site. And, that is the only contribution that I can legitimately offer to the American woman.
I just hope and pray that my daughters never become a victim of him. And, I offer up my son to America based on the principles of manhood covered throughout this Web site.
Those that think they can "buy" safety by obliterating another country with military might just because it appears to harvest so-called "terrorists" had better read this article - and, then re-read this article. What in the world do Americans think they are doing? You cannot defeat other peoples that have their own faith; and, believe it enough to do this to themselves http://www.royblakeley.name/larry_blakeley/articles/buddhist_burning.jpg . And, if you think you can - "You've got another thing coming" - Judith Priest. Sure, go into Iraq - and, the ones you don't get there will only spread out across the globe. Then, try to identify them.
America's foreign policy had better be right, or else, these people will be pouring gasoline on us and setting us on fire - to burn.
Wake up, America!
You are putting our children in harms way - and, I'm not happy about it.
But your flag decal won't get you
Into Heaven any more.
They're already overcrowded
From your dirty little war.
Now Jesus don't like killin'
No matter what the reason's for,
And your flag decal won't get you
Into Heaven any more..."
- "Your Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven," John Prine, 1971 MP3 audio file/lyrics at http://www.royblakeley.name/larry_blakeley/songs/prine_flag_decal_heaven.htm
Side Note: Let there be no misunderstanding, I have nothing but the deepest respect for the military and their patriotic service to our country - as I do for my own father's sacrifice to this great country. I am in agreement with Chief Master Sgt. Jeff Slocum's letter referenced below.
.".. As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq. Staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price. It is time for U.S. troops to come home ..."

"Using Complexity Theory as a guide, this paper analyses al Qaeda as part of a global anti-American Islamic terrorist network and develops recommendations to improve the US strategy aimed at defeating terrorists from perpetrating further catastrophic acts against the United States homeland.
Although most Middle East experts unequivocally state that few Muslims accept the legitimacy of terrorism, they nonetheless concede the broad support for the bin Laden's goals. Bin Laden articulated these goals in his 1998 manifesto which said,
“America must know that the battle will not leave its land, God willing,
until America leaves our land,
until it stops supporting Israel,
until it stops the blockade [now occupation] against Iraq.”
