Kent Germany is an assistant professor at the Miller Center where he is the coordinator of the Lyndon B. Johnson project and studies social policy and the Civil Rights Movement.
His research interests lay in the American South, race relations, and poverty.
Kent teaches courses on America in the 1960s, American politics, and U.S. race relations. Before joining the Miller Center in September 2000, he received a Ph.D. in history from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
